The Best Snowboard for: All-Mountain + Freeride - Steeps, Cliffs & Powder
Designed by John Fellows, the art pays homage to Barry, a Saint Bernard adorned with the iconic whiskey barrel who is said to have saved over 40 lives in the early 1800s in the Swiss Alps and Tikka, his modern day Golden Retriever counterpart. Through this collaboration with Tin Cup Whiskey and the National Ski Patrol, we'll be supporting the avalanche search and rescue dogs of the Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment (CRAD) team who respond to both resort and backcountry rescue operations.
The Ridgeline is the peak of our freeride line - built to float in powder while giving you an unrelenting edgehold at high speeds on steep, variable terrain. Featuring a Directional Multi Radial Camber-Rocker profile and a longer sidecut, the Ridgeline provides float in deep snow, while avoiding too much taper that might cause the board to wash out easier on icy slopes. We add in our Rugged Topsheet made from castor bean oil for durability/snowshedding, and a top of the line Sintered Base with clean black graphics for unrivaled speed and ease of p-texing/repair. Additionally, the Ridgeline features our Vertical Laminate and Tail V Carbon with one of our most sophisticated and sustainably harvested poplar, paulownia and bamboo cores to shave a touch more weight than our Backwoods while providing reliable edgehold, snap and dampening required of higher speeds. The Ridgeline is a freeride board at its core, but we've made the flex more approachable to be a stellar, all around, daily driver on resort or off.
