Every year we host Front Range Splitfest to raise funds for avalanche education. In light have having to cancel the event, and in our continuing dedication to supporting avalanche education and safety in the backcountry, we're choosing to raise some funds digitally if we can.
For that reason, we have chosen to release two new models from the 20/21 season's lineup for immediate sale. 100% of the proceeds will go towards supporting AIARE. See below for a few words from Vickie Hormuth, Executive Director of AIARE.
"Like many nonprofits, AIARE, a nonprofit organization, has been financially impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. AIARE relies on revenue generated by our partners who deliver AIARE recreation courses to backcountry users across the US. Because the spring season was cut short, our revenue has been significantly reduced. We rely on this revenue to operate over the summer. It's during these summer months that AIARE reviews and updates curriculum, and writes new course offerings for release in the fall (yes, AIARE is working on 2 new REC offerings for next season!). Avalanche education and safety equals public safety. With the support of the backcountry community, that AIARE can continue to serve you, the public. Thank you for your support." - Vickie Hormuth, Executive Director of AIARE
