Customer Service and Shipping / Warehouse Specialist

Weston is seeking to grow our family to support our growth as we become an increasingly dominant player in the winter sports industry, particularly in the backcountry and powder skiing / snowboarding space.

Job Overview

We are looking for motivated individuals to support us seasonally from September - March with potential for recurring seasonal employment. The ideal candidate will be someone who is patient, loves solving problems for customers, has worked in a ski/snowboard retail or customer service position, has technical knowledge of backcountry gear (and loves talking about it) and has ability to learn quickly and work independently. You will join us on our front line of customer interaction via timely responses to phone, email and live chat inquiries. Additionally, you will facilitate the picking and packing of orders and overseeing warranty inquiries.

You can do the Customer Service remotely from your home and we are flexible when you come in for the Shipping and Warehouse - nice!

The Basics:

Where: Warehouse in Lakewood, CO + Remote
Duration: September - March
Part-Time: 25-40 hours per week fluctuating during the season
Wage: $20 per hour
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision after 1 year
Experience: None required. Retail and warehouse preferred.
Education: None required. High school and GED preferred.
Drivers License: Required. Ability to move fleet vehicles and drop off packages.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for the Customer Service includes:

  • Providing an above and beyond level of support to both new and existing customers. Answer customer inquiries via email, phone or live chat.
  • Aid in direct/website sales through creating new and managing existing product orders.
  • Act as a resource for customers and retailers in regards to product and technical questions.
  • Communicate with the Weston team at large to help overcome customer issues.
  • Provide continual feedback to Weston team managers regarding customer experiences.
  • Utilize databases and resources to research and resolve consumer and warranty inquiries.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills through email and phone.

Primary responsibilities for the Shipping and Warehouse includes:

  • Independently fulfill orders in a timely manner
  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ensuring our warehouse area is organized and tidy
  • Communicate with customers and dealers shipping updates and modify shipping according to expectations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Based in Denver metro or Front Range, Colorado
  • Intimate understanding of technical backcountry ski and snowboard specs/gear with the ability to clearly and professionally communicate and make knowledgeable product suggestions based on customer needs.
  • Knowledge or experience with Weston boards/skis is a plus but not required
  • 1-2 years Ski/Snowboard industry or shop experience is a plus but not required
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience (retail, restaurant, hospitality, or equivalent)
  • Minimum AIARE level 1 preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of computers, spreadsheet programs, inventory management programs and/or POS/CRM experience is a plus but not required
