WESTON TECHNOLOGY
At Weston, we don’t just make skis and snowboards, we craft tools for chasing freedom in the wild. From the wind-lashed summits of the Rockies to untouched powder stashes deep in the backcountry, our gear is designed to go bigger, ride harder, and last longer. Every ski and board in our lineup is built using premium, sustainably-sourced materials, dialed construction, and high-performance tech that’s been tested in the most demanding conditions by riders who live for the skintrack and the send. Whether it’s our bio-based topsheets, precision wood cores, or aerospace-grade carbon layups, we engineer every detail so you can ride with confidence, connection, and a whole lot of stoke. This isn’t just gear - it's your partner in the pursuit of freedom.

Board + Ski Tech

Split Tech
We don’t skimp on our splits. You’ll see a full inner metal edge, complete with sidewall and dampening tape. Also, when facing a kickturn on a steep slope, you want all the help you can get - that’s why we balance our splits so that they are tail heavy.
Forged Tips
Stainless steel metal tip and tail pieces protect from damage and increase durability.
Boltless Bases
By using fine threaded bolts we were able to provide a smooth finish to our bases for easier tuning and greater speed.
Materials + Reinforcements
Rugged Topsheet
Think Rhino-Liner for your snowboard. This topsheet is bomb-proof and is designed to resist scratches and chipping. Plus its hydrophobic properties help to shed snow and prevent buildup. And if you weren’t sold already, it's made of castor beans instead of petroleum products, reducing the environmental footprint. The only downside is stickers don’t like to stick to it… but that's what helmets are for anyways.
SkinLock System
Tip Holes + Tail Notches for Skin Attachment. Our custom skin interface, developed with Pomoca for a seamless fit—secure in tour mode, compatible in ride mode, and ready for sled builds when things get real.
Sintered DuraSurf 4001 Base
Fast ride, more durable, good wax retention. It's the gold standard in bases. The 4000-series sintered base have a higher density than other options on the market, leading to better durability. Additionally, this structure absorbs more wax, making for a faster and smoother ride*. 4000-series PTEX is usually reserved for only top-of-the-line boards due to a higher manufacturing cost, but at Weston we use these on every board we make.
*With great power comes great responsibility. Higher wax absorption means the wax will also release faster and requires waxing more often. If you can’t remember the last time your board has been waxed, it's probably due. A quick coat every couple of rides will keep your board lightning fast.
Rooted Insterts
Flax Touring Bracket Plates. Natural shock absorption right where you need it.
Reinforce Binding Plate
1.8mm Fiberglass Binding Plate (Skis). Stomp-ready. Screw-slip resistant.
Stitched Tips
Our tip spacers are stitched to the core to provide added durability.
UHMW Sidewalls
Highly durable and impact resistant. Takes the hits. Keeps charging.
PU Sidewalls
Smooth flex and stealthy dampening, all day.
Triaxial Fiberglass Layup
Balanced, bombproof flex. From groomers to glades.
Carbon Fiber Layup
Light. Fast. Snappy. Dialed for the diehards.
2x Carbon Stringers Rear Inserts to Tail
Pop-loaded and ready to launch.
2x Carbon Stringers Tip to Tail
Longitudinal stiffness. Fluid turns.
Carbon V in Tail
More support. More stomp.
2x Tip-to-Tail S-Weave Carbon
Spring-loaded energy. Clean flex.
2x Tip-to-Tail S-Weave + Tail V
Maximum pop. Better landings. More control.

Wood Core Tech
Strike
Paulownia is the poster child of cores. It has the best strength-to-weight ratio, which makes it an ideal choice for lightweight touring builds. But to take it to the next level we had to think outside the box. Instead of traditional stringers that run the entire length of the core, we turned everything on an angle, allowing us to vary the thickness of each piece and fine tune the flex throughout the ski. It then got infused with aluminum stringers for improved stiffness and dampening. This combination is our most high-tec core and is a dream going up and down.

Conqueror
Every wood has it’s own highlights, so we decided to bring them all together. Poplar, the jack of all trades, serves as a durable base to start with, feather-light paulownia shaves unnecessary weight, and bamboo acts as a spine to maintain stiffness. We also threw in vertical carbon stringers for additional stiffness without the weight penalty. The combination is used in our stiffest boards, designed for riders who want complete control.
Models: Gnarnia Snowboard
Freedom
The pairing of paulownia and poplar is like having a helium infused board. This lightweight combination minimizes weight and maximizes performance, meaning more of your effort can go towards having fun, instead of getting dragged down by a heavy board. Paulownia has one of the best strength-to-weight ratio of any wood on the market, making it the ideal wood for cores. This build has a slightly softer flex and is designedto be super lightweight yet responsive for our ladies of shred.
Models: Dream Machine Snowboard, Dream Machine Splitboard, Gnarnia Splitboard, Hatchet Snowboard
Slayer
A blend of poplar and bamboo minimizes weight and makes for a snappy, responsive ride. Bamboo running the length of the board acts like a spring and increases pop throughout. This lightweight combination minimizes weight, meaning more of your effort can go towards having fun, instead of dealing with a heavy board. Both woods are fast growing and sustainability farmed, so natural forests aren’t harmed.

Sustainable Tech
Collapsible content
Bio-Based Topsheets
A portion of these topsheets are derived from Castor Beans, reducing the need for petroleum based products.
Solvent Free Inks
The inks in our graphics generally use natural carriers and have low to no VOCs, making them safer to work with and better for the environment.
Flax Fibers
Flax fibers provide great characteristics when it comes to strength and dampening, while being derived from natural plants.
Sustainably Sourced Cores
The wood in the cores is grown and harvested from plantations instead of from natural forests, making the process less invasive and destructive.
Die-Cut Bases
Solid color die-cut bases reduce the waste created by other graphics approaches, and the black is more easily repaired.
Recycled Material In Edges
The edges use upwards of 50% recycled materials, reusing scrap in production and reducing the need for virgin materials.
VOC Free Epoxy
The epoxy we use is VOC free, making it safer to work with and better for the environment without sacrificing durability or performance.
