Introducing The Slay At Home Speaker Series: NIGHT 1 - Expedition Splitboarding in Denali

GO FORTH AND SLAY AT HOME!

While we're all stuck at home during C*VID-19, we figured there are still ways to continue to build our skillsets and progress as splitboarders. With that idea in mind, the Slay At Home Speaker Series was born.

Every Friday night at 6pm/MST, the backcountry community has the opportunity to get together again via the worldwide web to discuss relevant topics and ways to best prepare ourselves for seasons to come. Tune in LIVE on Facebook or join the conversation on ZOOM

Night 1 kicks off this Friday 4/17 with a special in-depth discussion on expedition splitboarding in one of the most awe-inspiring sights in Alaska and the highest peak in North America, DENALI.

Join special guest speaker and Weston Backcountry Team Rider, Pat Gephart for a LIVE presentation on his 2018 splitboard expedition to Denali, where he and his crew were able to snowboard from the summit. Pat will go into detail about his training, gear preparation, and experience on the mountain during his 24 day stay on the glacier. Join Pat along with Michael Ackerman, head of the Silverton Avalanche school, to learn more about what worked, and most importantly, what didn't, while on a Denali expedition.

Follow @patgephart for more pow slayin greatness.

Tune in LIVE on Friday 4/17 at 6pm MST to the Zoom meeting and ask the expert panel any of your burning questions!

Or host a watch party via Facebook LIVE!
